Looking at Tianjin Cania, I can’t help but think of Shinjuku Boys. It’s my favorite documentary, but it used to be on YouTube, but it was re-released in Japan last year, and now I can’t see the full version. This documentary was produced in 1995 and covered three cast members of Onabeba in Shinjuku, Gash, Tatsu and Kazuki. Their gender and sex are different, but they are connected to the world as an onabe at the Onabe club in Shinjuku. Most of the women who gather there look like they are in their 20s. All three of them were impressive, but among them, the image that overlaps with Tianjin Cania is still Gash. for he is the man who hates women the most. Gaish reveals that he hates women because of the accumulation of experience of being dumped by self-styled haenyeo who he was dating (please correct me if I remember correctly), but this part seems to be a prototype of the Asian Old School Butch Blues women’s hate repertoire. 3.
